Team Synergy Coatings Company Overview

Team Synergy Coatings, was established to bring the advantages of aerospace, automotive and OTR-Trucking coating technology to marine, rail, industrial and commercial markets. Rather than simply utilize already existing coatings, as many companies have, Team Synergy Coatings has modified formulas and created new ones to fit specific needs of heat retention, heat dissipation, abrasion, chemical and corrosion resistance properties. Rigorous testing in both laboratory and field applications utilizing ASTM standards as a benchmark is carried out to ensure that the coatings will meet the requirements of the application. Spec2005, contains a complete list of all test procedures, followed from R & D state thru production and finally application of our coatings in the field. There are many similarities between coating used on or in internal combustion engines and Industrial equipment. All coatings in both applications must be able to function over long periods of time in areas where high temperature, friction reduction corrosion abatement, exposure to hot /cold environments take place. Example burning nitrous oxide fuel to power a dragster ,creating excessive heat in the combustion chamber to a burning chamber inside a thermal oxidizer, or reducing friction of piston skirts to coating pump shafts. First and foremost there can be no peeling, chipping, or cracking of the coating, the coating must not leave the surface even under extreme heat and pressure. One of Team Synergy Coatings test laboratories is a true jet engine powered drag car. Air velocities reach Mach2., temperatures reach 1500F (815C). Our coatings do perform under these severe operating conditions.

In addition, Team Synergy Coatings recognized that for the greatest benefit to be realized, coating materials would have to be made available in the local market. Time and cost constraints make it difficult for many to have coatings applied long distances from the component location. Team Synergy Coatings has taken the lead in developing 'user friendly' low VOC as well as water based coating materials that can be applied by 'local' licensed application shops after initial factory training. Team Synergy Coatings manufacturer’s very specific production equipment based on many years of experience for the licensee. Our Licensee package includes application equipment, coating materials and on-site start-up along with a guarantee that the product produced will meet established Quality Standards before leaving the premises.

Team Synergy Coatings is constantly modifying existing formulas and developing new ones to fit specific needs as the market continues to expand in size and scope. Coatings originally developed for the aerospace and automotive field have been successfully transformed and are now being applied to piping systems, tanks, pump casing and impellers, valve bodies and internal parts, fan bodies and blades, loco-motive and stationary diesel/gas engines, rail cars, offshore production platforms, ships, refineries, chemical plants, power generation facilities, to name a few.
